Adapt-a-Stop® Bracket Installation Instruction

Adapt-a-Stop® Bracket Installation Instruction

  1. Take Adapt-a-Stop® brackets from packaging and align them at the desired location on the pallet rack upright or horizontal beam.
  2. Secure bracket to beam:
    • For horizontal load stops, using provided nuts, bolts, and washers, or your own separately purchased nuts, bolts and washers (minimum 3/8” size), secure brackets to upright beams. Align holes in bracket with holes on upright beam.  Use the pre-drilled holes on the upright beam and the pre-drilled holes found on the bracket.  Apply between 20-40lbs torque pressure to secure the bracket to the upright beam.
    • For vertical load stops, using provided nuts, bolts, and washers, or your own separately purchased nuts, bolts and washers (minimum 3/8” size), secure bracket to the horizontal beam by using the pre-drilled holes found on the bottom of bracket.  Apply between 20-40lbs torque pressure to secure the bracket to the horizontal beam.
  3. Secure beam to brackets:
    • For horizontal load stops, clip a horizontal beam (not supplied by Adapt-a-Stop) onto the back of the Adapt-a-Stop® brackets. Ensure the beam’s locking safety pin is properly engaged. Then secure nuts, bolts and washers (minimum 3/8” size) on lower bolt hole on load bar. Apply between 20-40lbs torque pressure to secure the horizontal beam to the Adapt-a-Stop® brackets.  This ensures the load bar will remain attached to the Adapt-a-Stop® bracket in case the locking pin on the load stop beam fails.
    • For vertical load stops, using provided nuts, bolts, and washers, or your own separately purchased nuts, bolts and washers (minimum 3/8” size), secure Adapt-a-Stop® vertical bracket to a vertical beam (not supplied by Adapt-a-Stop) by using the pre-drilled holes found on the side of bracket aligned with the pre-drilled holes on the vertical beam.  Apply between 20-40lbs torque pressure to secure the bracket to the vertical beam.
